{8>B A life size arting of a blue morpho...one of my favourite butterflies. I am also extremely fond of the pearl morpho, and the birdwing butterflies...I might draw a series of these guys given the chance. Anyway, this was drawn to show my sweetie :iconhellwyvern666: what you can do with pthelo blue ink.

Drawn with ballpoint, inks, marker pen, brushed pthelo ink and white wax pencil on A4 paper.

oh God these guys were EVERYWHERE in Panama when i went there. and the way they flap is so trippy. the other side of the wings are black and during flight all you see is flashes of blue every other second. they might as well have mastered invisibility lol anyway this is gorgeous! looks just like the real thing

Oooooh WOW sweetie! :wow: Nobody uses blue colors as amazing as you! Such a lovely color the pthelo one, I cannot WAIT to draw something with them.

Oh my gawd. I've never seen anything like that in real life. 5 - 6 1/4 inch wingspan. It's miraculous and at the same time terrifyingly wondrous.
