This colourful butterfly is Rajah Brooke's Birdwing. The real kreature measures 5.5 inches across the wings. Since I was looking at some butterflies in the Hole's greenspace this morn, I thought I'd have a go at drawing this favourite (among many) of the species. The Queen Alexandra birdwing measures a whole FOOT wide! I love these insects. {:>} Endure!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
