Fantastic, I love the intricate detail on the metal and the texture on the beetle's back.

Kind of reminds me of the beetles that move into our house every winter. They seem to prefer my room to all the other rooms of the house. It's kind of wierd, especially when you consider it's usually the coldest room in the house.... It would explain why they keep dying on me.... It makes me sad when they do that. T_T Poor little bugs.....

Reminds me of 'Gankutsuo', the Count of Monte Christo anime. The green of the beetle-like bug. When he moves, does the green stay still?

I haven't seen that film, I don't really indulge in televidi much at all. Yae, when Zyzzyvur moves, his shell doth move with him. *bhugge warbles a song to ye in the language of trees* {:>}

That was a nice song. Honestly, I haven't seen Gankutsuo either, but apparently it's drawn such that instead of just coloring in certain segments of the picture, they are made invisible, and behind them is placed a screen-sized texture (such as the green of Zyzzyvur's shell). The background texture doesn't move, which I'm told makes it look pretty 'trippy'.

Ah, I gather ye meaning! I've seen this happen before in animated film, some chequered clothing did the same thung. It was indeed trippful, and it made my eyes think that they were ears for a moment. {8>D

Well, mine eyes have never imititated ears, not for a moment. Then, I've never, as I said, seen such as that.
